What Foods can I mix Glucomannan into?
Aside from foods you'd bake or cook, Glucomannan works best in foods that have a smooth consistency. Although you can't eat the powder between two slices of bread, you can mix it into mustard or mayonnaise to get the desired effect.

Why do you have to just cook with glucomannan? I've heard you can't just sprinkle it on food to get results.

You don't have to cook with glucomannan, like making a casserole or a stew, but it does work well in many recipes you enjoy like quiches, stir-fries and muffins.

And, it's true you can't just sprinkle it on foods like chicken breasts, salads or raw vegetables, but you can sprinkle it into your yogurt or smoothie or soup. The reason being is that you need some moisture or water of the food to dissolve the glucomannan and make your food thicker. So, for your yogurt for example, you just sprinkle the glucomannan into the container, stir, wait for a moment for it to thicken and enjoy. You'll be satisfied and full for much longer than without glucomannan.

Why can't you mix the fiber directly into hot foods?

When you add the dry fiber to a hot dish, such as a stir-fry, it will turn into a clumpy mess. So, first add a small amount of cool water to the fiber to form a smooth paste, then add it to your dish.

Can you just drink Glucomannan in water or juice?

Juice is not recommended, for several reasons. As you may have read by now, glucomannan makes your food thicker, which means it would turn a regular glass of water into a smooth gel. In addition, glucomannan is tasteless, so it would make your water turn into a zero-flavored gel that may not tempt everyone's pallet. The best thing to do is mix it into the foods you eat throughout the day.

You can be creative because you are not bound to any flavor. Make it your own! Enjoy the feeling of being full again!

How does your body react to glucomannan?

One positive side effect of glucomannan is that it will improve your intestinal regularity. Glucomannan supplementation often increases stool frequency, a challenge that women often encounter.

Some people do get gassy, but our testimonials have reported normalization after 3 to 5 days. If you have problems with gas, moderate your dosage or you can also benefit from digestive enzyme supplements that contain enzymes to help break down fiber.
